OVERVIEW

The CONLAM is a highly pigmented range of inks specifically developed for quality surface printing on both narrow and wide web presses.

A full range of process inks: Silver, Pantone matchings and metallics are available.

KEY BENEFITS
  • Superior strength and gloss.
  • Excellent bond strength on most constructions.
  • Good printing and re-solubility.
  • Conforms to FDA requirements for indirect food packaging.

The CONLAM range is an ethanol based system which allows a printer to obtain excellent speeds when printing on film.  The system can be modified to any drying speed required by the customer.

Resolubility is the key to obtaining clean and sharp images over the length of a print run.  Prints are fully recovered within a small number of revolutions.  Wash ups are rarely required during press runs

APPLICATIONS

CONLAM inks can be printed on Paper, BOPP, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Cellulose, PET and Nylon may require a PET Lam ink depending on the end use.  Major applications include pouches, form fill and seal, chip packets, rice bags etc.  It is crucial that these inks are printed on corona treated surfaces with a surface tension of at least 32 Dynes.  This is best guaranteed via an in-line treater.  This range is suitable for lamination printing only. Should one need to surface print these substrates we recommend the SOLAR range.

SHELF LIFE

Minimum 12 months.

Due to the wide variability in substrates, adhesives, materials, surface conditions, process conditions, and performance criteria, pre-testing on your substrates and production equipment is required to determine if this ink system will meet all your needs.

Results may vary according to your press conditions.
